Wonderful B&B with very comfortable facilities. We stayed for two nights and had sole access to the downstairs area, which included our double bedroom, separate loo, separate bathroom with bath and shower, and, a living room with tv/cd player, tea and coffee making facilities and a half fridge. We also had access to the outside area where there were two options of a table/chairs set up - one on a small grassed area with an umbrella and another under the verandah. The facilities were all very clean and quite lovely with us having no hesitation in recommending a stay. A local coffee shop is 500m away. We enjoyed lovely walks, a ferry ride to Lyttleton the on to Quail Island for a fantastic day of history absorption and walking around the island, hot baths with the window open allowing the wonderful scent of jasmine to waft in. There was so much to do and not nearly enough time - mountain biking and walking featuring high on our list. Julie and Barry, our hosts, were exceptionally friendly, helpful and willing to offer any advice we needed over and above the informative leaflets/brochures available on site of the area. Breakfast was fresh fruit salad, cereal, milk, orange juice, toast and jam with a huge pot of tea and coffee. Loved out stay. Many thanks.
