If you like countryside, you should go there. The surrounding trees, fruits of the garden and the free range eggs that the owner would give us. The house was very cosy and the beds were comfortable. There are places where you can eat nearby. We also visited the Pukorokoro Shorebirds Centre, 4 min drive. The nice village Thames is at a 30 minutes drive from the house. We really enjoyed our 3 nights stay at Miranda Orchard Cottage.

Great rural spot! The house was warm and cosy. Beds superb! Lots of extras… like condiments in the kitchen, water and milk in the fridge, citrus on the trees, AND fresh eggs supplied from the farm! Very relaxing! Just be aware the hot pools nearby are closed.
Response from Owner
Thankyou for your kind review. The Council has closed down the Miranda Hot Pools due to maintenance required on them. The Community will very much welcome the opening again of the Hot Pools. Warm Regards Barry and Anita
