A staff member stayed here and he said he really enjoyed himself. He enjoyed the fact that it was in a calm rural environment away from the hustle and bustle of town. It was also during a big rainstorm which threatened to keep the road between Gisborne and Napier closed and the owners offered to look after Shayne and offered accommodation for any extra nights if he got stuck in Gisborne. They also offered to take him to the airport and let us park the van. Fortunately the road opened and he managed to get out but it was sure appreciated that we stayed here just in case we ended up in trouble. Shayne is very keen to stay again. He stays out of town a lot and said he enjoyed this place very much. Thanks so much, Carla

Lovely place to stay, clean and tidy and close to town. We also enjoyed getting fresh eggs supplied, Yum!
