About this Holiday House

We offer full refunds in the event of COVID restrictions. Deep Lead House, named after a local gold mine, was designed and built in 1997. Well situated in a quiet street and has the rain forested Moana Reserve as a backdrop. Easy walk to the shop and service centre, Hotel, Cafe, Lake and Bush Walks. Fast Fibre Broadband and good mobile phone coverage. Broadband with ChromeCast TV for your Netflixs App, Freeview TV and DVDs. A smaller three bedroom house, but perfectly formed, and well appointed. There are two Queen rooms and one Double room. Perfect for up to four guests. Children will need to be under close supervision. The property is not fenced and open to water and a large native forest. Easy indoor and under cover outdoor living, dining and BBQ. Plenty of on and off street parking and undercover storage. Private yet good lake and mountain views. Wake to native birdsong every morning. A delight to stay in.

A great place to recuperate from walking and climbing trips locally, and around nearby Arthur's Pass National Park. Loved our stay. Found it very clean. Thankyou for making it affordable. Like to come back. Swimming 1st April in lake was amazing to do. Enjoyed using the Velenski track to get to lake.

Cancellations and Alterations

Cancellations due to COVID restrictions are fully refundable.

If you wish to cancel your booking 21 days or more prior to your arrival date, you will receive a refund of your payments made, less a $20 booking fee.

If you wish to cancel within 21 days of your stay due to illness or bereavement please forward supporting documentation.

If you wish to otherwise cancel or shorten your booking within 21 days of arrival date, your payments, will generally not be refunded. However if we manage to re let the house for some or all of the same period, a refund for those nights will be available, less the booking fee.

Should you wish to cancel due to work commitments please pursue your employer for your loss of payments.

Cancellations due to extreme weather conditions, causing road closures, which prevent you from travelling to the village, will be assessed on a case by case basis.
