Superbly appointed, quintessential family bach, large flat sight room for boats and tents. Conveniently located meters from lake edge, boat ramp and jetty. Upper deck offers picturesque lake views. Toilets, one bidet, on each level. Dishwasher, Coffee machine, Clothes Drier, Basic pantry provided. Only 10 minutes drive from Rotorua town centre. 2x Large 4.5 meter kayaks for hire with safety conditions.

Adjacent to Lake Okareka. Only minutes from Lake Tarawera and the Blue and Green Lakes. Close to Mount Tarawera and central Rotorua (New Zealand's cultural heart). Popular local activities include Cycling tracks every where, bush walks, fishing, swimming, mountain biking, kayaking, sailing, water skiing and wakeboarding.

A beautiful spot - peaceful, birdsong, views - a great place to stop. Rob’s Bach has all you could ask for for a homely break. Close to Rotorua amenities (without the special aroma 😉)And Rob is very friendly and accommodating host. Definitely recommended!

A great house in the most perfect spot. Had everything we needed and plenty to entertain everyone when it rained. Great location, so close to Rotorua but so much more peaceful. We will be back.

What a wonderful Bach on the edge of Lake Okareka. A beautiful setting, feeling very secluded - but only a 15 min drive from Rotorua City Centre. It is a very well set up property, with lots of nice touches (ie. coffee machine and sky tv). We were a group of 8 (4 adults and 4 teenagers) and had a fabulous time.
