Atiamuri’s at the end of The Waikato River Bike Trail (end of the very scenic Whakamaru section) making it the perfect location for biking enthusiasts. Taupo, Rotorua and Tokoroa are also nearby popular Mountain Biking playgrounds. You are centrally located between Taupo (37kms, 30mins) and Rotorua (41kms, 30mins) so other activities are just a short drive away eg. Taupo Bungy, Huka falls jet boating, rotorua zorb & luge, etc. There are also various golf courses & walks; or perhaps you'd be interested in a soak at the hotpools at the Wairakei Terraces or De Bretts Hot Pools. If you're looking for a relaxing time – look no further as the bach is situated with sunning rural views of the mountains, forestry, cattle, and is in a quiet location. Bring your wine, open the bifold doors and take on the sun or stars while keeping an easy eye on the kids on the backyard. The “Bull Ring" is 5 minutes or 5 km's away and features a small store for basic items, plus a bottle store & pub; else just 2km's further is the Beez Neez, wonderful bar/restaurant for the evening if you'd like to eat out. The petrol station is just a little further, nearly next door to the Beez Neez.
