About this Holiday House

Fully equipped warm and comfortable modern alpine styled home with 360 degree mountain scenery. 60 minutes drive from Christchurch. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, large log fire (with ample dry firewood supplied), heatpump,TV (satellite free to air), video, DVD, CD player, unlimited wifi, Chromecast, washing machine, large master-bedroom with en-suite and large outside deck/BBQ area. Very warm with games, music, DVDs . A great place for the active outdoors or just relax/ unwind.

Special Amenities

We are proud of the number of return bookings we receive from regular users. A lot of effort is put into maintaining the house to as high standard as possible. The owners are also forest owners and have installed a large log fire available with dry firewood - no guest has ever complained about the house being cold!

Special Attractions and Activities Nearby

Close to 5 ski fields, boating lakes, rock climbing, mountain and forest tramping/ walking tracks, caving, mountain biking and trout fishing. The Village has a tennis court and rustic 9 hole golf course (clubs supplied), a children playground/ pump bike track, petanque court and a nearby clean river with swimming hole.

Fantastic family friendly house, so warm with a great woodburner, very clean, equipped with everything you need for an awesome stay. Great location in the Castle Hill village - mountain biking and walks right on your doorstep. The WIFI was great as we were working remotely and had no issues. Lovely quiet area. Would definitely stay again.

Minimum rental of 2 nights. Price is per person but babies under 12 months are free. Rate for 4 persons per night, extras $25pp. A deposit of $200 is required to secure booking and a full information letter will be sent. A cancellation fee of $50/per night on confirmed bookings cancelled within 2 weeks of dates required - only charged if no replacement rental can be found. Linen can be supplied at an additional cost by arrangement.
