Great family holiday house. 3 bedrooms with view of the sea and sandhills. Spacious deck area with all day sun. Sleeps 4 adults and 2/3 children. 2 bathrooms, separate laundry, well equiped kitchen and open plan dining room and lounge. Cot and highchair available. Recently installed heat pumps. Also double garage with pool table. Main bedroom with queen bed is downstairs and has an adjoining bedroom with sofa bed. Upstairs is another double bedroom with a queen bed and a small bedroom with a set of bunks.
We are dog friendly and own a cocker spaniel who loves the beach. Mangawhai Heads beach is a v pleasant dog exercise area. The house has a dog door leading out to a fenced area. A great holiday house for a family.

The house was sunny and had beautiful views of the sea. Easy walk to the estuary and close to the shops by car. Quiet and lovely and clean and great to be able to take our dog. Plenty of room for the family. A very enjoyable long weekend.

I came for a family holiday from Brisbane and loved the house. Great view, very spacious, close to beach and everything clean and tidy. Would highly recommend.

A great find. This was our first stay at Mangawhai Heads and we'd definitely come again. The house was perfect for us - just the two of us plus our Jack Russell. We didn't need to use the upstairs, but the cottage would comfortably sleep 6 plus! It was wonderful to have such dog friendly areas both at the rear and on the deck. The views are super and the location perfect for walking everywhere - to the lagoon, the shops, the cafes and even the golf course and, most importantly, to and from our friends in the evenings! Well appointed in the kitchen and with Sky TV. Good shower over the bath. All in all, thanks. We enjoyed our Christmas immensely!

A very clean comfortable house. Thanks. Plenty of room for our family of 5 (including the dog!). A great place to spend our summer holiday and our 3 children enjoyed the 2 weeks at the beach. Max our labrador had a great time on the beach.
