About this Holiday House

Charming, spacious 1bedroom cedar cottage with large deck and stunning views of Doubtless Bay. King size bed, comfortably furbished, and only 300 metres down Seaview Rd. to the beautiful pink sands of Cable Bay. All linen supplied, Please bring your own beach towels. This is an ideal property for one couple. Despite being one bedroom only, it is spacious. An additional couple or single would have to use the pull-out sofa bed in the lounge room. Please note, if you choose the sofa bed option, and stay only 2 nights, there is an additional cleaning fee of $55 to be paid to the manager on arrival.

Stunning views of Doubtless Bay from lounge, bedroom and deck. Large garden below, small gardens around the house, a garden gate, plus a farm on one side, make it very private. Put yourself on the deck: in one direction are lovely views of Doubtless Bay, on the other are rural views, native bush and olives groves. Quietly enjoy your drink, listen to the Tuis sing, watch those vibrant sunsets...Ahh relax and enjoy.

3 minutes walk to Cable Bay Beach Diary, takeaways & Cafe. Five minutes drive to gorgeous Mangonui, which has fine dining and great boat trips available. Launching ramp 5 minute drive. Pink sand at Cable Bay, white sand beaches nearby at Karikari Peninsular, sailing, snorkelling, many local markets, Beach fishing, big game fishing, pippis galore, kayaking, scenic walks and fabulous cafes are all within easy reach, South and North of us. Other wonderful places to visit are also close, like Ninety Mile Beach, Kauri Museum, Vintage car Museum and many beautiful bays along the way if you drive up to Cape Reinga. Clan and tidy traditional bach with all the basics for a reasonably priced stay. A couple of small items though- the bbq needs a good clean and watch your head on the unit over the kitchen bench. Forgot about that the first time I stayed and was reminded again this time. That won’t put me off coming back though. Cheers Eric

This little holiday Bach will take you back in time being very basic but a large comfortable bed a good hot water shower make up for any shortfalls. Very peaceful and a few minutes from the beach and little store for food,drinks and delicious ice creams.
