The crowning glory of your stay will undoubtedly be the gorgeous cedar hot tub, one of the only ones in the area. This is no ordinary spa pool, soaking in the depths of a wooden tub is an entirely different experience to your typical kiwi spa pool and the uninterupted views from the tub will leave you spellbound. If you’re in the tub during the day you’ll enjoy myriad birdlife from the native bush only metres away, at night you can see the milky way due to the rural setting and lack of light pollution.

The 1 acre section is perfect for dogs and although it is not fully fenced, it is fenced on 3 boundaries and as long as you keep an eye on your pooch, they’ll love it here!

Mangawhai Village is only 10 minutes drive and Te Arai beach is about 12 minutes drive (avoid the crowds, go to Te Arai not Mangawhai!) but if you really want to join the traffic at the Mangawhai Surf Beach, it is only 15 minutes drive.

If you prefer, we can arrange commercial linen hire and laundering for you for $25 per person but you need to request this at the time you book to give us to to get it delivered to the property for you.
