About this Holiday House

Matapouri Bay, Tutukaka coast 3 hrs north of Auckland City. Quiet rural beach area. Between Matapouri shop and beach. Four mins walk on grass from one of NZs best beaches. Modern 1 bedroom spacious open plan family house/ bach on private half front section with spacious decks, outdoor furniture and SummerBBQ- Body boards and Surfboards provided in guest shed. Good Wifi internet and Heat Pump House may not be suitable for all toddlers as not fenced but very quiet blind road. Min 3 nights for all 3 day holiday weekends.Note a modern Kiwi Bach is on the back of this section though separate and private. With sleep out Macs Bach -This family Beach House is a modern homely well equipped warm cosy escape for couples for a weekend away or time out. In a very peaceful quiet street at Matapouri a great white sand, blue water beach that is as lovely all year round. Numbers a little flexible but NOT to exceed booked beds available We would consider letting both the House and Bach together to reliable guests/tenants. NB We are NOT a serviced motel or guest house - Self service, self cleaning kiwi style. Three night min for all 3 day holiday weekends- Discount for returning guests & specials offered. Body boards and Surfboards provided in guest shed.

Cafes and restaurants at Tutukaka Marina 10 min away. Wilderness adventure and experienced surfing at Ngunguru Estuary/ River and Spit 15 mins away.

This bach is not new or stylish at all, but it has a lot of character. Location is good: five mins walk to the beautiful main beach - and there are two spots in Matapouri that are even more beautiful: Mermaid Pools and Whale Bay.
