Awesome stay, the host was very kind. Got coconuts and paw paw serve to us on our first day. The insect screens that covered all windows and doors was very smart, we can leave all the windows and doors open without any worry of insects going in. Area and nice and private, we got views of the ocean from the front deck and sunset and also the sea track was walking distances. The host(don't want to name her) gave us Takihi (Niuean food) before we went to NZ. Was so great to be at Niue.

Nanas Oceanview Chalet is a great place to stay on Niue, especially if you are a couple and you want to be able to cook your own meals. We stayed for 10 days, and it really was a little piece of paradise. The house is surrounded by large, private grounds, so we had a big area all to ourselves. Everything was really clean, and everything we needed was provided for us. It is in a good location, not too far from the main town Alofi in one direction, and the various snorkelling pools in the other direction. Nancy even rang to check that we had settled in and that all was well. We also hired her car, which worked out very well for us. You need a car to get to various places on the island, because they are quite spread out, and there is no public transport. I can thoroughly recommend Nanas. We will certainly be returning.
