About this Holiday House

A comfortable house with spacious open plan living, a large front deck, a full kitchen and a cozy log fire to keep you warm on those chilly evenings. Fantastic 90 degree water views over Lake Onoke and the nearby beach which looks towards the South Island mountains and the Cook strait. On balmy evenings have drinks on the front deck and watch the stunning summer sunsets.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS FOR HOUSEGUESTS: All within walking distance from the house are surfcasting, whitebaiting (when in season) floundering in the lake, a children's playground, beach walks and the Lake Ferry Hotel/Restaurant for drinks and meals. Approx a 30 minute drive to the towering Pinnacles, paua and crayfishing, and the Ngawi fishing village. Then further on there is the Seal Colony and the Cape Palliser Lighthouse. The climb to the top is approx 250 steps !! A 30 minute drive to Martinborough or Greytown for Wineries Cafes and Boutique shopping. Martinborough also hosts many outdoor events throughout the year including the famous Martinborough fair weekends in February and March.
