About this Holiday House

Enjoy a one night Bed & Breakfast stay (for a couple) or an awesome family holiday. Just over an hour's drive north of Gisborne or 3.5 hours from Opotiki. The Bay is rich in history and an idyllic haven for all season's fun at the beach or just relax and enjoy. Great fishing, surfing, swimming, diving, kayaking, bush walks, pa sites, and boat ramps. Boat charters, horse treks and history tours can be arranged. Opportunities may present to participate in Maori cultural activities. Our spacious open plan colonial style Holiday Home is a very comfortable home away from home. 2 minute walk to the beach and 5 minute walk to the shops, card phone, ATM and the local Sportsclub. Cell phone coverage. 24x7 card fuel pumps (all cards) at Foodmarket. Meals and Internet cafe available at Te Puka Tavern. Hot pool at Te Puia Springs and nearby golf course. Just the perfect base to explore the unique beauty of the East Coast. Minimum 2 nights.

We really enjoyed our stay for 6 nights. Spacious unit in close proximity to fabulous beach and local amenities. Very clean and comfortable. Lois was a delight to meet, and had lots of knowledge of local history and places to visit. Thanks very much, we'd love to come back in future!

Great location, good walking distance to beach and shops. Loved the little whare we stayed in the back home, all we needed definitely would go back to stay and would recommend this place. Thank you Lois x

Loved it stayed in back unit, got wifi on my phone from kitchen table. As at other end of bay it's hard to get coverage. Took our own sheets an towelsi which is fine, .well be back Thanks a million
