My husband and I stayed at Blackmore Cottage for a Week in August, 2006 and throughly enjoyed our stay. The lovely gardens, the historical and artisic detail shown to furnishings, accessories, crockery, etc spot on, location and layout of the cottage fantastic, the easy to use laundry, the workmanship on the renovations, the close proximity to art galleries, coffee shops, restaurants and having a wine tour pick you up at the door was a bonus. We skied at Rainbow ski field and the drive up to that club ski field was beautiful.Thank you sue and evan we'll make it back one day.

What a wonderful cottage, beautifully restored, absolutely charming, fantastic attention to detail. So many little extras provided, we were quite stunned. Thank you for exceeding our expectations.

Blackmore Cottage is completely charming. We especially loved the large, comfortable bathroom. The big vege garden, full of all kinds of seasonal treats, was an unexpected (and relished) treat. The location is great and very easy to find. The family who own the cottage are lovely and have taken care of every detail you can imagine. This is a wonderful place to unwind for a few days. I highly recommend it!

Great place, lovely to hear a bit of the history about the cottage and to have a walk around the garden. Very reasonable on price and a nice touch with a bottle of chilled wine on our arrival. Thanks so much - it was fantastic.

Blackmore Cottage is charming, and a real home away from home. We have stayed several times and would happily recommend it. It's beautifully restored, very cosy, quiet, and fully equipped with all you need for a short or long stay.
