Lake Heron Cottage is situated on Lake Heron Station, 2 hours drive from Christchurch. Built in 1900, the cottage has been beautifully restored and equipped with quality furnishings and appliances. Quiet, spectacular and with crystal clear night skies, this is a place to be close to nature and New Zealand's country roots. Walking, mountain biking and fishing are all close on hand, as is the opportunity to explore the remoter parts of the station on 4WD tracks.
