About this Holiday House

Modern cedar 3 bedroom house, private and quiet, situated at the end of the Village Green reserve with wonderful views through the pine trees to the sea. Two separate living areas opening to north facing decks and a modern, well stocked kitchen. Two newly updated luxury bathrooms, including an en suite for the main bedroom which also has its own private deck overlooking the Village Green. A two minute walk to the local shops, and a short drive to the stunning golf course and restaurant. The house has been recently renovated with new bathrooms, carpet and paint.

Special Amenities

Located in the heart of Matarangi on a picturesque reserve, which is a two minute walk from the beach in one directioon and a five minute walk to the shops in the other. A north facing deck with table and chairs which is perfect for watching your children at play on the reserve or for enjoying a G&T as the sun goes down. Matarangi is covered with bike paths and there is a selection of bikes in our garage for all ages, not to mention the various tennis courts within walking distance.

Special Attractions and Activities Nearby

If you wish to venture further there is a fabulous pizza/ coffee shop at Kuaotunu and the amazing Lost Springs in Whitianga (children must be over 14). New Chums, which was recently voted the best beach in the world, is also only a short drive and walk away at Whangapoua.

We had a very comfortable stay in this lovely, well equipped bach. Plenty of space for everyone to relax and a great location with the beach a few minutes walk in one direction and the shops and cafe/bar a few minutes in the other. Many thanks for letting us stay.

My family rented this house over the New Year period. The house is ideally situated on the village green and is within a short walking distance to the shops and the beach. The large deck at the front is perfect for barbecuing, entertaining and relaxing in the sun. The house is extremely well equipped and has a large living area. The interior is lovely and well maintained. We had a lovely time here and I would highly recommend this property.

Such a lovely house in a fabulous location! A home from home with a great view over the green to the playgound and a peek of the ocean just beyond. We were all so comfortable and cosy.
