The cottage is set in a large garden of mature trees amongst extensive vineyards in beautiful Hawkesbury in the picturesque lower Omaka Valley. Situated down a long driveway, Mill Stream raises cattle, is home to an old family horse, and is presided over by Oscar, a chocolate Labrador and Tigger the cat. The cottage is adjacent to the main homestead but is thoroughly private with its own access. Guests are encouraged to walk in the garden and wander around the farm. The garden, which has featured in Garden Marlborough, has many spots to sit and contemplate the peace and tranquillity and listen to the numerous birds. Mill Stream Cottage is just minutes from Marlborough (Blenheim) Airport and the village of Renwick is only 2 km away. Close to wineries, restaurants (including award-winning Arbour just 3 minutes away) and Fairhall golf course. Blenheim is only 12 km away.
