The deck now also extends to a tree hut style viewing deck in a gorgeous large tree and a large rectangular Intex pool runs alongside the existing deck. (Right outside the main living but fenced and a lockable gate from house) Before you read the good stuff here’s a few things to consider before booking… Best suited for 4 guests but more can be accommodated on a casual arrangement ie. fold out couch ,which you can set up during your stay. A lower double bunk may be set up by arrangement otherwise lower bunks are presented as seats and table. This property has small child hazards ie. stream , high decking , Tarzan swings, ladder to main bedroom , pool, old trampoline missing net and possibly a cat if suits for him to join you. Many children have been raised and stayed in the cottage and it is a fantastic cottage and property for kids and pets. A lovely cottage by the sea (1 minute walk). Unwind, relax or have loads of fun in the Nelson region! 1 minute walk to the Sea, Playground, Park, Skate-ramp and gorgeous seaside walks! 5 mins to Happy Valley adventures, 15 mins drive to city centre. Steps away from the Glen entrance of the Cablebay walkway. 13kms easy seaside drive to Nelson city centre. AT THE GLEN- (Glenduan north Nelson) situated at the end of the landmark boulderbank. The stones on the beach provide a natural filter (and heater) creating crystal clear water. Absolutely Beautiful for swimming in summer especially on a higher tide. NEARBY Less than 5 mins drive to closest DAIRY, PETROL, Also SKYWIRE, 4WD MOTORBIKE RIDES, HORSE TREKKING, MOUNTAIN BIKE TRACKS and more adventures At CABLEBAY ADVENTURE PARK Or head around to Cable bay Cafe in the summer months 10 to 15 mins drive. AT THE COTTAGE- Relax on the beach or the sun-drenched deck and swimming pool. Bbq, outdoor furniture and sea views. Wander down the garden to the stream, native trees and tarzan swings. Discover the waterfall on the left and explore the stream to the sea a fun wee family adventure. Loads of off street parking. INSIDE- The cottage has open-plan living, Dvd players and TVs in each of the bunk rooms, large TV in the living with Netflix through a chromecast as well as loads of DVD’s in the draws!, new dishwasher, 6 burner gas hob, double electric oven, pots, pans, plates etc. All you need, pantry and basic supplies. Expresso machine, beans supplied. Movie projector and screen for cozy evenings. Plug in the chromecast from the TV or HDMI from DVD or your computer. Good quality Expresso coffee machine. Instant coffee, tea, hot chocolate, Milk, Spreads, pantry staples. Linen is provided and beds freshly made for your arrival. 3 BEDROOMS- Can sleep 8, but size of house is not large so more comfortable probably at maximum 6. King bed in loft style bedroom ( Note-.. Fixed wooden ladder type steps may not suit some people), 1st and 2nd rooms- caravan style table and couches under single bed can be converted to double beds on bottom bunk. THE BATHROOM- contains an older small shower please excuse it is due for upgrade but works well. Toilet and bowl basin also Washing machine and dryer ( do not leave dryer unattended or going while sleep, don’t overfill or put on for over 1 hr at a time).
