We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Trevelmond(Lodge)The setting was just lovely and we really enjoyed our lazy mornings in the garden with the doves.Janice and Tony were just fabulous to deal with really appreciated the breakfast supplies and fresh flowers and fruit etc.We will return.

This is a great place to stay for a larger group. We had smaller chldren and the outdoor areas and playground were superb for them. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could need for a larger group. Beds were very comfortable. Janice was a very obliging and pleasant host. We have stayed in many holiday rentals and this was easily the best yet. Thoroughly recommended.

We had a lovely stay in this cottage with my two older children and my husband. It was a perfect location within walking distance of havelock shops, but on the edge of town. Sheep outside window!! the breakfast provisions were great with lovely fresh fruit, cereal and eggs. I would highly recommend this and in fact all the homes listed. there are 4 houses on the property, but all have there own private areas.

We loved this place. Plenty of room for 3 couples in Hawkes Bay for a wedding. Obviously a 1960s farm building, but cleverly and stylishly done up. It was also very well equipped and provisioned. Plenty of towels etc., not to mention fresh (and organic) eggs, fruit and cereals for breakfasts. The owners Janice and Tony seem to have thought of everything to ensure a pleasant stay. They are there to help if you need them. It is truly a great atmosphere all round, from the garden, the farmland next door, the barbeque area, kids' playground. Bedrooms are lovely, the main room spacious. The bathroom (incl bath and shower) is very nice. The great thing was we could cook at home, barbeque or take a 5-minute walk to a great restaurant (Pipis, for example). This lodge was great value for what it was.

Wonderful stay. Ideal for us, Mum, Dad and three children under 8. The lodge was well equiped with washing machine (& detergent), dryer, sky TV, games, toys etc. The extra effort that the hosts make to ensure a lovely welcome was really appreciated the flowers, chocolates, the bedrooms with the kids duvets and teddy bears. I was especially grateful of the good amount of supplies available towels, bedding, cups and plates not to mention the groceries: eggs, bread, spreads, cereals, milk. Just to note the living area is a good size and far enough away from the bedrooms that Mum & Dad can watch TV and not disturb sleeping children (try that in a motel room). Really recommend staying here. Good value for money. Excellent hosts. Thank you.

Friendly and flexible hosts made for a great holiday

Awesome place to stay, nice and private and only a few minutes walk to the shops. Great hosts, and fantastic free range eggs and fresh fruit on arrival. Definately recommend.

A homely lodge set in beautiful gardens with a friendly atmosphere. I would recommend to anyone.
