We spent a week at the lodge and enjoyed every moment of it. A lovely place to stay, with lots of privacy and awesome views. Very close to Taupo and all the attractions. Kids loved the animals and running around (so much safer than in a city!). Thanks for the warm welcome and hospitality of our host Samantha, and for the delicious bread and fresh eggs. Absolutely wonderful time, and planning to come back one day. Mariana

Our boys loved the opportunity to bottle-feed the lambs each morning and hand-feed the goats, alpacas and sheep.

The lodge is 8-10 mins drive from the lake and is set amongst acres of open farmland so was an ideal place for us to relax in peace after busy days exploring Taupo and Rotorua.

Taupo and the Farm Lodge are inked-in at the top of our list of places to visit agin when we return to NZ.

We had a great visit here. My daughter maintains it was her favourite thing we did in 3wks of visiting New Zealand. She loved feeding the animals every day.

The grown ups appreciated many things about our stay! The location was great -- a short drive to anything we might want to do in the Taupo area (which is crazy busy with lots to do), but a quiet, restful place to come back to each evening. Fresh bread and eggs for breakfast! Great views. So private, it felt like we were on our own.

Accommodations were exactly as promised, clean good space, well equiped kitchen.

Our host, Samantha, was friendly and accommodating.

She made us feel very welcomed and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The Farm is a unique place. Peaceful and private with marvelous views of the surrounding countryside.
The animals are a lot of fun to watch and feed. We plan to return for more sunsets on the patio and lazy mornings by the fire!

Simply the best! We have travelled around NZ and found TFL to be a fantastic place to stay. The lodge is spacious and nicely furnished, the views are beautiful over rolling countryside and the hospitality is first rate, we had a lovely stay.

We have just spent 6 weeks travelling around New Zealand and Taupo Farm Lodge was by far our favourite place.

What a perfect place for a relaxing holiday.

There was so much to do around Taupo, If we had not all ready pre booked other accommodation we would have defiantly stayed longer.

The Lodge was perfect for us and situated in such idyllic surroundings.
Our children loved feeding all of the animals and my husband and I loved the peace and quiet, also the views were way above what we expected.

The breakfast provisions of the warm home baked bread and the fresh free range eggs that the children helped collect were divine.

We really appreciated Samantha’s genuine Kiwi hospitality, it made us feel very at home.
The kids just adored her and followed her around like lost lambs.

But I cant decide if my favourite part of our stay at Taupo Farm Lodge was sitting in bed in the morning with my coffee watching the sunrise over the spectacular country side, or laying in the hammock with a glass of wine, in the beautiful garden watching the sun set.

Next time we visit New Zealand we will defiantly stay longer.
