If B&B is more your style we offer up to four rooms available within the downstairs wing of the main house. Read more below.

The cottages are set up as follows and cater for family and friends get away weekends or holidays.
Tukituki and Tutarekuri cottages will sleep four guests with the main bedroom having a queen bed and second bedroom two singles. Open plan kitchen dining and lounge and separate bathroom and toilet.
The Ngaruroro family cottage will sleep 5 guests with a queen bed in the main room and set of bunks and a single in the second bedroom .
All cottages have their own laundry.

Separate to the cottages is the main house with four rooms downstairs
1x Double room 1xQueen bedroom 2 x single bedrooms.
All are available to book for a bed and breakfast option or as part of an extended group.
The rooms are fresh modern comfortable, the double has an external entry.
Two bathrooms and two toilets are in the B&B wing for guests to use.
Use of the swimming pool and hot tub is included with the B&B rooms quality linen is supplied.
A large shared guest lounge and dining room to watch TV.
or relax on the sunny deck.
B&B is not suitable for babies or small children.
Room rates vary please contact for confirmed rates.

Close to everything in Napier.
Five minutes to the CBD and Marine Parade, Aquarium of NZ,
7 mins to Napier sailing club. 10mins to Hastings sports park. Hockey and Park island football fields.

We have stayed at Riverbend Family Lodge a number of times. Each time we have been impressed with the cleanliness and convenience these two bedroom cottages provide. The spacious combined kitchen/dining/lounge area gives plenty of room to move. The kitchen has good storage with a full-sized fridge/freezer and stove. The beds are very comfortable and there is good wardrobe space. Having the toilet separate from the bathroom is an added bonus, as is having a washing machine in each unit. The hosts, Kendall and Greg, are a pleasure to deal with. Riverbend Family Lodge is the ideal place to stay in Napier, it is a "home away from home".

The set up was perfect all the essentials and quietness for sleeping. So close to the city area but you got the thrill of country life with the surroundings and animals.
We met the lovely owners who were so accomodating and guenuine friendly people. Would stay again without hesitation. Loved it!

Nothing was any problem to them and the knowledge of things to do was superb. The cleanliness of inside and outside facilities were of a 5 star standard. (You will not be dissappointed).
