We were fortunate to use the wood burner in the evenings, kept the cabin toasty warm. Best supply of kitchen utensils we have had in a holiday home. Thank you Tim, we really enjoyed our stay. Truly quiet and relaxing spot. Wonderful views, beautiful birdsong, snug well equiped cabin. Lie in bed to see the glowing sky with the sun rise, and sit on the verandah to see the pink setting sun. Tim a congenial host.

We had a great stay at the cottage. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Would recommend as a great getaway from it all. Fantastic views and great walks. Will stay again.

This is our most impressive place during 2 weeks in NZ.
The cottage is nice and well fully furnished,the environment is calm and very clean.The host,Mary and her family, are so kind and friendly.

Absoluteley lovely position and views, very comfortable and private. Hot bread on arrival was just lovely. Thank you for a lovely place to stay, it was just what we wanted. We will be back. Highly recommended.

Waingaro Cottage is an ideal environment for a family break. We spent 4 nights there and throughly enjoyed the freedom and peace that staying away from town provides.

Waingaro Cottage is an ideal environment for a family break. We spent 4 nights there and throughly enjoyed the freedom and peace that staying away from town provides.
The cottage is beautifully set, well appointed and maintained and Waingaro is ideally positioned between Kaikora and Hanmer Springs. Both are easy and interesting drives away.
There is nothing like a large farm environment, long walks, chasing sheep, unlimited footy kicking space, wood chopping etc, to tire out 7 year old twin boys!! As Australian city kids they were very excited by having a fire at night and animals outside the windows.
A great place to stay.
