About this Holiday House

Four bedroom, spacious, self contained home with a beautiful, private and tranquil setting. Access to our farm for walking, cycling and trout fishing. We can offer some of the most stunning views the Catlins has to offer right at the top of our farming property. 5.5 km from Owaka and central to many of the magnificent attractions within the Catlins Area. (Purakaunui Falls is a 5 minute drive) Cook up a storm on the BBQ, or rest and relax after your days exploring on our brand new deck, while the kids play on the spacious lawn area.

Large enough to comfortably accommodate two families Fantastic outdoor lawn area - great for a game of touch rugby or cricket etc Fantastic Deck area to relax on and absorb the scenery on offer. Walk further up the paddocks to the bushline and experience the most beautiful views of the Catlins Coastline. Wifi has been recently installed to assist with the lack of cell reception in the area.

Catlins River Station is only a 5 minute drive to Owaka which offers several lovely eating options, a Garage for fuel and vehicle maintenance, a great four square supermarket and bakery, a community swimming pool, a 9 hole golf course and the Museum/Information Centre is a must to visit for all your local attraction information. The house is also central to all the Catlins attractions with the beautiful Purakaunui Falls only being a 5 minute drive away. Ride your bikes around the gorgeous Catlins Lake and take in the peace and tranquility the area has to offer. Hope you enjoy!!

Absolutely incredible place with everything anyone would ever need in house. From a fully equipped kitchen to very comfortable beds. Would most certainly recommend it!

A great place to stay. Quiet and relaxing with lots of space and everything you need to enjoy the Catlins. Great communication with the host. There are a few flies, but to be expected on a working farm stay and they didn't bother us. Handy to Owaka and the general Catlins area.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Catlins River Station House. The place was clean and tidy and provided all amenities as listed. The property was easy to find and a very convenient location. Definitely recommend!
