About this Holiday House

Our lovely Cedar holiday home is a very spacious and comfortable home that sits above Acacia Bay over looking the lake looking across to Wharewaka point and has views of Mt Tauhara and the Kaimanawa hills! With space for all the family Acacia Bay Retreat is well equipped to make your stay feel like home and enjoy your time in Taupo with so many activities avaliable at your door step!

Special Amenities

Our house features lake and mountain views is only a 8 minute drive to town and a 5 minute walk to the lake edge (using the Ewing Grove track) the property is quiet and has private garden surrounds there are 2 decks featuring 1 up and 1 down both with great views of the lake. There is access to Tennis courts just 1minutes drive from the house and at the top of the street there is a short bush walk where you are able to view glow worms at night!

There is so many options as to what you can do in taupo, Kayaking, Sky diving, Bungy, Visit the honey hive, Taupo race track, Helicopter rides, Skiing just 1hrs drive, Taupo CBD with loads of Cafes and shops to Check out, also just a few minutes drive La'Arte Cafe up Mapara Road great Cafe for breakfast or lunch. What a wonderful place, with great views of the lake. The house was very tidy and clean and very suitable for our large family. I highly recommend this place and would be very happy to stay there again if we're in the area.

Note all linen used to be left in the wash house and minimum 3 night stay on long weekends!
Lastly a $150 cleaning fee is required per booking, thanks!
