We had a really great stay in the July school holidays. The owners have done so much work on this property, a lovely new deck out the front, nice wooden floors inside, re upholstered furniture in original style - I imagine in Auckland it would be called 'retro' and rented out at three times the price! Place was immaculately clean and neat, well equipped with everything you could need. There are two bedrooms - a double room with an extra single bed, and another room with a bunk bed and a single; plenty of room for our family of five. Fly screens on the windows. Garage with pool table and darts board. An abundance of citrus trees! Ankle deep wade at low tide over sandy estuary to main beach. Looks on to beautiful native forest and estuary in front, very private and quiet. A gem of a spot, we hope to return some day!

We stayed 3 nights recently with perfect weather and I must say that we thoroughly enjoyed every minute we were there. The bach was as described well equipped and comfortable for our family but it offered so much more, the kids enjoyed playing pool and darts and made use of the boogie boards when they were out in the water - the bach is in a private quiet area which has the reserve and the sandy bottom estuary a few steps away - the main beach is stunning and there are so many walks and surrounding beaches to visit we highly recommend if your looking for that good ol kiwi bach with some nz history - thanks again simon and lisa we will definitely be booking for another holiday soon!! Kind regards Norma geoff and kids

Thank you Simon and Lisa. The bach was exactly as you described it with a fantastic location. The bach was clean and tidy and had every thing you would want and more. This sort of property is what memories are made of. A great spot for kids with the estuary at your door step and having some equipment at the property was a bonus. We will be going back to your bach.
