Captains Cottage (house) has views from most rooms overlooking Raglan harbour and bush, light and airy, casual and relaxed. (House - sleeps 10). Plus additional studio can be booked which sleeps 3). This is still a no fuss Kiwi bach, but has two renovated bathrooms in the house and a separate studio for extra guests. Master bedroom has bifold doors onto deck. Third bathroom is in the studio. Free WIFI Available. A focus on ensuring appropriate cleaning of surfaces is completed. 4 bedrooms (or 3 bedrooms + 2 lounge areas), sleeps 10 in house (plus 2 in additional studio). Beds in house include MASTER BEDROOM (1 x queen), BEDROOM 2 (Double bed) BEDROOM 3 (1 double bunk with single on top plus a single bed, BEDROOM 4 (1 single bed with trundler, (makes two singles or 1 kingsize). STUDIO - 1 x queen and 1 bed-settee. Large open kitchen, dining and lounge with NEW HEAT PUMP/AIR CON unit. Verandah / decks on both sides give you sun morning and evening. ADDITIONAL STUDIO: Renovated one bedroom (self contained) studio with stylish en-suite bathroom, kitchenette/lounge with fridge, portable cooktop, microwave-oven combo, tv, dining table. Large ranchsliders both ends giving good light, with bush views, peek of the water. Outdoor table & chairs. Sleeps 2 adults / 1 extra person on bed settee, would suit a child. An extra $120 per night when booking the house. Or $140 if booking separately. House and studio are not booked to two different groups to allow privacy of stay. Fish off the wharf (ten minutes walk) or kayak out and fish in the harbour (great fishing). Boat ramp - 2 minutes drive. Plenty of room for parking the boat. Cafe's and village shops / supermarket a few minutes drive or 15-20 min walk. Harbour swimming at the bridge (in town) Drive to Surf beaches and learn to surf -Ngarunui Beach off Wainui Rd (large ocean surf beach) -Manu bay/Whale Bay (iconic surf beaches) This bach is all you need for a great getaway and that relaxed NZ beach-town feel.
