We would definitely choose to stay here again next time we're in Dunedin. It's nice to be a little away from the business of the city too but not too far to drive.

A gorgeous place to stay. Clean and tidy, beautiful bedding and bathroom. Lovely to have Keely's home made muffins with a cup of tea. We'll be back and are telling all our friends to stay here.

We had a wonderful stay here. The place is really nicely set-up - a brand new interior in a lovely old building. We'd love to come back! Owners are very helpful, and we loved the ginger loaf...

A stroll to specialty shops, cafes and pubs. The Historic Careys Bay Hotel is a 10 minute walk and the beautiful Orokonui Ecosanctuary a 10 minute drive with Sawyers Bay Golf Club a 5 minute drive. Take a short stroll up the hill to the flagstaff overlooking the port and harbour and from here take respite at The Ralph Hotere Sculpture Garden where you can view works that will entertain and awe you. Another short stroll up to Iona Church and the Rhododendron dell give yet another perspective on Port Chalmers and the harbour. The dell was the original quarry from where most of the stone used to build local architecture was taken from.
