What a truly wonderful piece of heaven 'The Grange' is. We had the unpleasant job of preparing my grandfathers funeral and desperately needed a suitable haven for the migrating family to congregate, all at short notice. We couldn't have asked for more accommodating hosts in Martin and Heather. They were extremely accommodating and compassionate and every aspect regarding the arrangement of our stay was seamless. The communication from the Martins' was outstanding and we were made to feel as though this was our home away from home from beginning to end. The deep history of the house and sprawling gardens evoked a sense of tranquillity amongst all who stayed. Thank you for everything Martin and Heather!

A beautiful, peaceful setting with room for many. We stayed with our family - children and grandchildren - of 9 adults and 6 young children for 6 nights. The garden, grounds, and home, were perfect - safe and secure for little ones to play outside, so much room and areas for cricket, bikes, picnics, and barbecues, a lovely verandah to sit and relax under. The kitchen is stocked with all the utensils and gadgets you need, plenty of lovely crockery, large dining table that we could all sit round, cosy fires for cooler days, comfy beds with large rooms for extra mattresses if needed. The home is clean and beautifully decorated in keeping with the history of the home. Martin is a wonderful host, nothing is too much. We loved staying there and could have stayed longer if time had allowed. We will be back if it is available this time next year. Best place we have stayed in!

Our week at the Grange was just perfect, in our case for two families with young children. The house is large, comfortable, well equipped and tastefully decorated, with a real sense of history and charm. The expansive gardens were perfect for our kids to run around in, finding everything from lemons to hedgehogs. We enjoyed the log fire in the evening. From the Grange we were well placed to explore the surrounding attractions including the beaches, caves, cafes and tame eels. Many thanks for a lovely visit.

Our children & their children, all 16 of us, had a wonderful time staying at The Grange in January. There was plenty of room for us all, from the new born baby to the older teenagers and us oldies! Places to play and things to play with, places to hide & things to find, & plenty of books and places to read quietly. Something for everyone. It was so comfortable and had everything we needed for a week of getting together- culminating in the celebration of our Ruby wedding anniversary. The wonderful historic house and grounds were just perfect too for entertaining our many visitors. I highly recommend The Grange for family occasions such as a wedding!

Hi Martin

Our experience of ‘The Grange’ was fabulous. We so appreciated the opportunity to holiday at your property that is clearly a cherished homestead. The space available was fantastic and if needed we could all disappear into our own different spaces in the home, whether it be lawn or lounge.
The kids had a wonderful time with a cooking contest. The only implement we couldn’t find was a garlic crusher!
Thanks again and we shall recommend your home to anybody who asks.
Regards
Neil

Martin and Heather,

The Grange is a special place. It's the kind of place that feels so familiar even though you've never been there before. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the feeling of history and love throughout the property was apparent. If only the walls could talk.

The Grange is a home, not a house. Your home made our wedding day and entrenched itself in our lives.

Your generosity is one in a million. Thank you.

Jo and Michael
