Our sunny, spacious holiday house is nestled above the beautiful Pohara beach with fantastic vistas across Golden Bay. The open plan living area makes it a great place to relax with family and friends while enjoying the stunning views. The living area opens out onto sun drenched decks facing the sea, mountains or native bush reserve abundant with bird life and majestic Rata trees. The house has four bedrooms, three with queen beds, one with a double and the 4th bedroom also includes a bunk bed. There is a modern fully equipped kitchen with a pantry cupboard with generous pantry stock for your use. Modern appliances include dishwasher, microwave, wall oven and induction hob. The house has two newly renovated bathrooms each with a large shower, toilet and heated towel rail. The separate laundry has a washing machine and all the cleaning materials including the internal vacuum system. A large double internal access garage to store your toys includes a separate fridge for your catch! Outside offers plenty of off street parking for your vehicles and boat. The fenced section is family friendly with a flat lawn area to the front & side of the decks to play or laze in the beanbags, and also includes a children's sandpit with toys. An 8 minute walk brings you to the hub of Pohara's attractions including the sandy beach, safe swimming, 'On the Spot' store, cafes, restaurants, playground & campground. The house is in a handy location to heaps of activities; 1km to the tennis courts & bowling green, 1.5km to the Tarakohe boat launching ramp and 3km to the 9 hole golf course. The bike trail takes you into Takaka for a leisurely ride or into the Motupipi mountain bike park for the more adventurous bikers.
