Such a pleasure to stay in this comfortable little house so close to the beach and other places to explore. Definitely would stay here again, but for longer next time!

Our family was delighted with this treasure of a Kiwi holiday home. A cosy and relaxing place to stay so close to the beach and not far from local attractions. Very well set up, especially the kitchen, and lots of fun games to play. We all appreciated sitting around the log fire in the lounge and the sunroom was very enticing in the afternoon. Such great views both ways! An excellent choice for relaxers and more active people and we would happily stay again. What an incredible bach! We have just returned from a two night stay and wish we had booked for longer. The bach is situated right on the beachfront with direct, private access. The sunrises each morning were stunning - we truly felt like we were on our own private island. The bach itself, while having a small footprint, has ample space and could comfortably sleep 8 people (our family of four had plenty of room). The bach is very clean and tidy and well equipped for a very comfortable stay - including plenty of toys/games/DVDs/books should you encounter any turn in the weather. We enjoyed the short stroll to the local cafe and store at the camping ground for ice creams. Farewell Spit and access to Whaririki Beach is only a short drive north, and Collingwood a short drive south. I cannot recommend this bach more highly for any type of group - whether it be a couple, a young or senior family - this bach is perfect for all.
