The Oar Suite is $240.00 per night. The Paddle Suite is $220.00 per night and if both Suites are taken together the combined rate is $380.00 per night.
We now have a new stand alone Chalet called 'The Oar House’ with a much envied aspect over looking the lake.
It has two suites each with either one Californian bed plus one singe or three single beds for up to 6 guests. Each suite have their own en suite.
There is a large lounge/ dinning with schist fire place, full kitchen, separate laundry, car port and extensive decking over looking the lake.
We feel The Oar House would not be out of place amongst NZ’s finest.
Our nightly rate for The Oar House is $520.00 4guests.

Definitely book the Oar Suite if you're a couple - the morning view is amazing and you'll see the rowers on the lake below.

Absolutely loved our stay in David and Sues beautifully appointed Oar and Paddle. They were so wonderful to make arrangements with and the property is very cool, big bifolds and stacker doors in the bedrooms and lounge make the most of the stunning views over Lake Karapiro. The house has everything you could want and is beautifully decorated, has comfortable beds, is warm and cosy, and you want to stay longer. I can't wait to go back and stay again. I think one of the best places Ive stayed in.

Thanks, David and Sue, for putting together this wonderful luxurious place with the most amazing view. We certainly felt spoiled, everything was thought through. So convenient that the bike trail starts opposite the Oar house, we peddled quite a few scenic miles! Would love to come back and will certainly recommend this to others! The Oar house is the best accommodation we've had so far!

Definitely a highlight of our stay knowing we were returning here after our daily events with no stresses and the ability to relax. Such a wonderful host. Very helpful and accommodating. wonderful part of new Zealand. Add to that the best views from all windows, convenient proximity to Cambridge and other attractions, an amiable host, and you have the perfect getaway for a relaxing and peaceful respite from lifes stresses and cares.

We had a great stay at this place and we wish we could have stayed a lot longer at this hidden treasure. The place is tastefully decorated with a relaxed country style and a contemporary finish. There is all the modern amenity and you can tell the place is built with a passion and to the highest quality. The panoramic view to the lake is simply breathtaking and showcases how beautiful NZ is. You can view out to the beautiful lake from both the master bedroom and the living room where there is a wide open space out to the deck and beyond.
We will definitely recommend this place to all our family and friends this 5 star luxury yet very comfortable place.

We had the pleasure of staying in "The Oar House" which is a standalone chalet. Beautifully appointed, with glorious views over Lake Karapiro, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nothing nicer than enjoying a good red in front of the fireplace, with the curtains open overlooking the lake at night. Great location, within easy driving distance to major tourist locations around the area.Thank you David and Sue, for making us feel so welcome! We will definitely be back

Beautiful location, very quiet and peaceful. awesome place to go to after the waka ama competition. Stayed there for nights with my family and it was awesome. Very spacious, clean and perfect for a family holiday. Will definitely go back.
