Watch & listen to the native birds including Tui , Pigeons and Bellbirds as you relax or cook your bbq on our beautiful deck, private, very quiet and peaceful , but close to the hub of Akaroa Please note As we have a number of permanent residences around us , no parties under any circumstances By booking you accept that you are liable for any accident or damage caused being intentional or not . Christmas booking , payment on booking from 22nd of dec to 13th of jan must be made in total by the 30th of nov , refunds will only be given on cancellation after this date if it is rebooked .

Well located property with a lovely deck. The owner, however, was not transparent regarding extra charges for linen. Be warned in advance that if you don't travel with your own linen and towels he will charge you $12 per night for linen and towels. He will also be rude about it when you question him on the extra charges. There is no mention of these extra charges on the listing. Be warned also that there is also no wifi and the owner also failed to provide any soap or handwash, so bring your own! 3 stars for the property and location, could have been 5 if the owner was a nicer, decent person who left clear details about linen on their ad.

Very disappointed in this guest , our web site clearly states please require about linen . Rang me mid afternoon Sunday. Wanting to know where her linen was. As I was half way to timaru hard to reply. Was able to arrange for a linen pack at $9.00 , per night per person not twelve as stated . Do not supply soap or hand wash as we are a holiday home ,having only paid just over $100.00 per night plus gst. Not sure what she is moaning about as I went out of my way to help her Perhaps next time a more expensive option with all the frills would be appropriate.

What a lovely little spot. Great value for money with off street parking for boat and car. Ian was a pleasure to deal with good communication. Very much enjoyed or stay in the most beautiful little town in New Zealand.
