A beautiful house full of architectural interest , exceptional light with glimpses of the original garden which offers a private space to eat alfresco! The mountain landscapes are visible from both the lounge and the mezzanine. It's thoughtfully furnished in keeping with the era . The well equipped kitchen provides a nice environment to cook up the best of Central Otago's beautiful produce. And if you're into cuisine, there are herbs within the garden. It's spacious with the bedrooms perfect for two couples offering privacy for both. Beds are comfortable with quality linen and a vista of Wanaka stars. Staying here added to an already great experience of Central Otago. With its stunning Lakes and mountain scapes. We walked and rode the tracks which circle the lake and are minutes from the house. Which is situated within a quiet neighbourhood. Bremner Bay is a small attractive Bay at the end of the road. And suitable for swimming. Valerie was a gracious and supportive host and communicated effectively with courtesy during our stay. I'd welcome the opportunity to stay here again. Susan

We had a great stay at this neat holiday home. Location is very central and close to lake. A quite street and house is full of character.

We stayed over summer & loved the location of this scandinavian-feeling holiday home-an 5min walk to Bremner bay{ideal for children to swim at & adults to enjoy gazing up the Matukituki}, an easy walk to Wanaka to pick up coffee or groceries. We enjoyed the peace of old Wanaka & large , private section. The house is well set up for eating indoors or outside on the deck & it gets good sun particularly in the afternoon. The round window & Doctor Seuss fir trees add a unique element.
