A lovely spot to stay with great views and a well equipped and comfortable cottage. Handy to the ferry across the harbour for exploring the other side. We really enjoyed our stay with the children. Thanks

LOVED this cottage and our entire experience - I came back home to Motukaraka and stayed here with some overseas friends for the weekend and we loved everything about this place. Clean, comfortable, cosy, with an amazing view of the surrounds and everything we needed (i.e. amazingly comfy beds and good wifi!).
Would definitely recommend and want to come back here in the future should the opportunity arise.

Thanks so much for having us. Shayne, Alex & Mario.

We loved the little house. It was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We like the idea of the BBQ and deck outside and also the kayak for summer. Our grandson who is 10 called me to look at the view from the balcony one morning to look at the water which looked like glass. So smooth and sparkling. Good latte's down the road too. Everything that Aucklanders desire. :-) Ann

The view alone is worth a million dollars, the friendliness of KohuKohu is however, priceless. We absolutely loved staying in this gorgeous little cottage!

We stayed at the cottage for three weeks (of June 2014) whilst relocating to Kohukohu for employment. "What an awesome little piece of yester-year". The very cute old cottage is so warm and homely, fab little fire place and heat pump too. Immaculately clean and well maintained. Kitchen is well appointed. Good shower. The most comfortable double bed. I spent relaxing afternoons with my feet up reading in the sun on the back porch, enjoying beautiful views of the harbour - after mornings of wandering the township, taking in the heritage walk of old buildings, library, enjoying the fabulous food/coffee at the Hotel Café and chatting with friendly locals. (We are very much enjoying living in the Kohukohu district!!) Manager Glenda made for an easy pleasant experience which was much appreciated during our shift up the North, kia ora :)

This was a gorgeous cottage in a very characterful area. We recommend both the cottage and Kohukohu as a destination. Clean, tasteful and charming. Try the roast at the "Koke" pub!
