Seafarers is ideal for those that want peace and quiet, away from the crowds and are happy to sit back, enjoy the scenery and listen to nature at it's best! Aurora photographers, I am very happy to let you know when one is happening during your stay, and will show you the good spots for viewing, and if you need help with camera settings I can help you there. There is a car available for your use and entirely at your own risk. Drivers must be licensed, over 25 . Petrol must be replaced before leaving the Island. Yes we have a coffee plunger! Free Wifi. Special Amenities

Seafarers is very private, quiet sunny spot, with native bush up to the deck, has Tuis and Bellbirds feeding off the Fushia and Flax flowers. The cheeky Kaka visit the deck, looking for a few peanuts and Fantails flit around the house. Kiwi's can be heard calling at night, and if you are very lucky could spot one. Many walks close by, and a safe beach at the end of the road. Moorings are available if you want to bring a boat. Seafarers is ideal for families, couples and just the perfect spot for a honeymoon. You will be meet at the plane or boat on arrival, and we are happy to assist you in your bookings, and activities on our beautiful island.

Love it!! Fully equipped house. Beautiful outlook, view of the bay. Easy walk to the Horseshoe Beach and Lee Bay beach a little further. Thank you to Andrea for picking us up and for taking us back to the depot. Thanks too for the opportunity to stay in Seafarers Cottage. We hope to be back 🙏

Fantastic, quiet location with lovely views. Perfect for walking the local tracks. House was very comfortable and clean with everything we needed. Great to have such a friendly pick up and drop off from the ferry. The use of a car for the duration of our stay was really good bonus! Love the quietness and friendliness of Stewart Island. This was our third trip over and definitely not our last!
