About this Holiday House

This popular home is located close to downtown Queenstown. Awesome views are obtained over Lake Wakatipu with a backdrop of the Remarkable Mountains. The home is on two levels with the main bedroom, ensuite bathroom, kitchen, dining and lounge upstairs. A balcony off the lounge provides space for relaxing in the evenings while the sun sets to the west. Downstairs are two further bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with two single beds. Separate bathroom and laundry facilities are also provided at this level. A linen hire of $25 per person per stay applies. A comment from a guest: While I didn’t get to write in the Cooper House guestbook, we had an absolutely amazing time staying in Queenstown. This was mainly due to the first rate facility that is Cooper house. It was literally the best home away from home anyone could ask for, with all the creature comforts as well as just the right amount of homely touches. The 180 degree view from the living room was amazing, and particularly spectacular in winter. The heating was a fantastic extra and my Fiancé was in love with the heated tiles and towel racks in the bathrooms. Another great thing for us was the close proximity to town, where tourists tend to spend most of their time. While on holidays in Queenstown I would recommend the house to anybody as it is simply amazing. We definitely plan to stay again on our next visit to Queenstown.

Love, love, love this house, everyone wanted to stay here for the whole holidays, lots of 'oohs and aahhs' when we first walked in, the view from the living area is absolutely amazing and you can't get bored looking at it. Lots of living space for the whole family, loved having the kids downstairs and us upstairs. Heated flooring in the bathrooms and heated towel racks, we thought we were in heaven. Beds are great and all the other comforts of home and then some. Totally recommend staying there and we definately hope to go and stay there for longer next time.
Response from Owner

This place is magnificent! We stayed for 5 days in August 2012. Absolutely amazing view, the best in queenstown surely! Beautiful house, very warm and cosy, wonderfully appointed with everything we needed and more. Bedrooms were big with very comfy beds, living area lovely. Easy walk to town. The only bad thing is that it does not have wifi. But the views make even that bearable. I thoroughly recommend it. I did not want to leave and would go back in a second!
