About this Holiday House

This STUDIO room is located in a residential home on the Port Hills which have great views, is close to town (7 km) and comes at an attractive price. We are in the suburb of HUNTSBURY HILL. Read carefully as this is accommodation with a difference. This separate, ground floor, individual STUDIO Room (part of a residential home) is semi self-catering. It has a kitchenette (in one part of the STUDIO room) which is equipped with a large bench, sink, microwave, fridge, toaster, electric jug, cutlery, crockery, and wine glasses etc. There is a queen size bed and separate ensuite bathroom. WiFi or Lan is available and internet access is unlimited and free. Parking is on the driveway which is adjacent to the STUDIO room. There is an outside deck area, under cover, which contains seating and there is an option to carry out additional cooking here as an electric hotplate, electric frying pan and electric wok are available. The garden is not established but is under development. On arrival your bed will be made, towels provided and tea and coffee are available to make yourself a hot drink. We can recommend some popular cafes in the area for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This is a popular location for walking, jogging, biking and enjoying the outdoors. An ideal base to explore the city, beaches, Banks Peninsula, Akaroa, Hanmer Springs, Kaikoura or go skiing. Owners live on the top floor of the home. Available all year, minimum stay is 2 days and over the Christmas period the minimum stay is by negotiation. Metro bus no. 17 to the city centre, bus stop is 5 minutes walk away. The PORT HILLS have many walks and are enjoyable for a drive. They have many magnificent views. You can go up by cable car and enjoy a meal or coffee at the restaurant on top of the hills. You can walk the same track the first settles have walked before they build roads. The city is only 5 km and great to visit. The beach is 7 km. A bus to the city centre is in walking distance. It's a short dive to the well assorted New World supermarket, a bank, bakery, coffee shop, petrol station etc.

Nice, clean apartment with great facilities. Spacious with access to separate kitchen, second toilet and tv. I would have liked windows that open and the drive was quite hard to turn round in.
