Wonderful accommodation and very warm, friendly and helpful hosts.
Having stayed in many different forms of holiday accommodation around NZ, we can say this would be one of the best.

I stayed here for 10 days as an alternative to a motel. It was such a pleasure to come back to The Red Barn after work each night, like a home away from home. It is equipped so thoughtfully & the coffee provided was great. I just loved having a fire for the cool nights & what a treat to have the wood pile replenished when needed. The bedding was the best I've found anywhere I've been - comfortable & luxurious. Just great:)

Idyllic winter break. Great to roast marshmellow over the fire and star-gaze away from the city lights. Kids had a ball with the dolls house and other toys, books and puzzles. many thanks. don and david Bagnall Wellington.

This is a very nice house in Wanganui. We had two nights there in April. Sheryl and her family runs this house. She is a helpful person and her kids are very lovely. She help us with getting around the city. Sheryl roasts coffee in a small barn in site so it is a great thing to watch. The coffee is great and it makes this place special. My wife did really enjoy the place specially the goats. The house is cozy well furnished. It has got everything you need to enjoy and relax. We would come back and we would recommend this place to our friends.

Being coffee fiends, the chance to see Sheryl in action roasting coffee and having the opportunity to learn about the process was an unexpected bonus. Sheryl went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. We would definately stay there again. Sarah and Scotty.
