It is well loved and cared for, a little rough around the edges which creates its imperfect country charm. Consisting of one main cosy cottage and four cabins, in total it can sleep 20 beds. It is suitable for individuals, families, small groups and large groups. When you make a booking it blocks the entire complex, therefore it is entirely private for your use and not shared accommodation. The main quarters cottage has two seperate bedrooms first bedroom has a double bed and second bedroom two single beds. Open plan kitchen and small lounge area with log burner plus bathroom/laundry and a separate dining area. There are also four cabins which in total has 15 single beds (this includes 4 sets of bunks) and a 1 double bed. Plus two separate showers, toilets and laundry. No linen/bedding is avaiable for cabins. In total there are three bathrooms, two washing machines, two ovens, two fridges and a medium chest freezer. We can supply a portacot, highchair and baby bath if required on request. Plenty of lawn for the children to play and a BBQ area to enjoy. Ample area for parking of boats, trailers, horse floats etc if required. Linen for cottage (x 1 double bed & x 2 single beds) can be supplied at extra cost on request. Handtowels, Bathmats, Tea Towels, Dish cloths are supplied, as well as basics of hand soap, dishwashing liquid and washing powder. Ribbonwood Quarters is 20 -minutes from the main state highway. Situated on Quailburn Road, includes 10km of easy gravel road which is suitable for all vehicle types. This accommodation is situated 20 minutes from Omarama, 30 minutes from Twizel, 1 hour from Tekapo, 1 hour from Mt Cook, 1.5 hours from Wanaka and 2.5 hours from Queenstown. Fantastic base for exploring the surrounds of the Mackenzie Country and Waitaki Valley.
