In addition to Little Kaiteriteri beach being less than 5 minutes’ walk away for your morning swim, the Waterfront Café, Beached Whale bar and restaurant, kayak hire, boat and water taxi access into the Abel Tasman National Park, mini golf and a children’s playground are at Kaiteriteri main beach only 10 minutes walk away. You can get there via a scenic clifftop bush walk or easily via the road footpath from the house. The renowned Kaiteriteri mountain bike park is the same distance away as are several coastal and native bush walking tracks. For the less advanced and casual biking scene, the Great Taste cycling trail also commences at Kaiteriteri and goes all the way around the coast to Nelson.
