About this Holiday House

You will fall in love with this 3 bedroom house. Whether you are relaxing in the lounge or hanging out in the bedroom you can enjoy a view of the lake and mountains. This is the perfect place to base yourself for your Queenstown holiday being just minutes from the town centre and it is close to many biking & walking tracks and bus stops for those without transport or skiing in the winter. The newly added outdoor deck is going to be your favourite spot in summer. There is only a carport no garage but we do have a lockable storage shed that is perfect for storing bikes, golf clubs, ski gear etc. You can hire a portacot or highchair but these need to be ordered in advance. It is important to note the stairs inside are steep so care should be taken. Care must be taken with children in the common space at the top of the stairs to ensure they do not climb the rails. The property is not fully fenced so you will need to keep an eye on your children when playing outside. Someone from The Butler is just a phone call away. Red Peaks is located just a few minutes walk (150 metres) from the Fernhill Dairy, Chur Fish & Chip Shop, Lokal Kitchen & Bar, Nest Kitchen + Bar, Fernhill Reserve with children's area, Bus stops and numerous walking & biking tracks. Guests have access to the whole house including the lockable storage shed at the rear of the carport which is perfect for storing bikes, golf clubs & ski gear. Red Peaks has just undergone a renovation with freshly painted walls, new carpet, modern kitchen and new outdoor deck area. You will love the new furniture and super comfortable beds. With a well set out kitchen, lounge & dining area there is plenty of space for your group. The owners are keen bike riders and have added a large map of biking tracks in the area as a interesting piece of artwork on the dining room wall and a storage shed at the rear of the carport to store your bikes. The kitchen is well equipped with equipment for your cooking needs. The 4 bar stools make it easy to sit around the kitchen bench and chat while dinner is being cooked making it a very social area. Our bedrooms are spacious and all have views of the lake. The two upstairs bedrooms have a desk & chair by the window. Although the house can only sleep a maximum of 6 people the top two bedrooms can be setup as either King or Single beds. The downstairs room is a King only it cannot be split. There is also the option of using the two single beds in the upstairs common area. So we can adjust the beds to suit your group of 6's bedding needs. Note: A portacot & highchair are available for hire if booked and paid for in advance. Please let us know if you will need these items. The house is about 2.1 kilometres into town. It's a 5 minute drive to town. It's a 6 minute bus trip. The bus stop is less than 3 minutes walk from the house and leaves every 15 minutes. You can walk into town it takes about 30 minutes but longer coming back up the hill (about 40-45 minutes) as its a steep walk back up the hill If you have your bike its about 8 minutes downhill and 17 minutes coming back up the hill. There will be a comprehensive guest compendium at the house.
