About this Holiday House

Mountain Retreat is a 3 bedroom apartment that is just a short walk away from downtown Queenstown. The apartment has stunning views of Lake Whakatipu and The Remarkables and surrounding mountains. The open plan kitchen & lounge area with balcony is the perfect place to sit back and unwind after a day enjoying the many activities the Queenstown region has to offer no matter what season you come. Perfect for families or a group who want to be close to town without staying in a hotel. This property is set out over a number of levels all accessed by stairs - this property does not suit someone with mobility issues. There is parking in the garage for 1 vehicle any additional vehicles will need to find parking on the street. If your vehicle has a storage box on top it will not fit in. Bedroom 3 does not have a view. Located on Thompson Street this apartment is part of a complex in a quiet residential area that is just short walk from downtown Queenstown. The close proximity to the town centre means you don't have to worry about finding a park when heading into town just leave it at the apartment and walk in. It is a bit of a uphill walk back so you may wish to catch a taxi back if you don't feel like walking. We use professional cleaners and hired linen to ensure our home is cleaned to the highest standards and COVID protocols.

The 3 bedrooms are located on the lower level. The master bedroom has an ensuite while bedrooms 2 & 3 share a bathroom which has a spa bath, shower & separate toilet. Bedrooms 2 & 3 can be setup as 2 singles or 1 King. (note Bedroom 3 does not have a view) The open plan kitchen, dining & living area is located on the top floor and has a balcony to sit and enjoy the spectacular sunrises and sunsets. The kitchen is well equipped with Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee machine, Blender, Rice Cooker, dishwasher, oven, microwave, cooktop and of course cutlery & crockery. The lounge has a large Smart TV which is Nexflix capable & has some Sky TV channels. The garage is fitted with a ski storage and drying room and bike storage. The apartment is fitted with all safety features including carbon monoxide detector.
