There's a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge, microwave, two induction hobs, kettle and toaster, as well as additional freezer and storage space in the adjacent shed. The cabin opens out to a deck looking onto the large lawn and the surrounding forest canopy. The outdoor table and chairs are perfect for balmy summer evening sun-downers, with a BBQ for al fresco cooking and dining. The fully-fenced lawn is calling out for little feet to run around after a ball, or pull out the petanque set and have a game on the green! For winter stays, both an infrared wall heater and an electric oil-filled heater keep you toasty, while complimentary WiFi and a selection of books are on hand to keep you connected and entertained. The TV has Dish Smart TV, giving you Freeview access as well as access to your own Netflix and Neon accounts. Totara Folly is in an excellent spot for vineyard hopping! Brooke Lane Vineyard is just down the lane, and Millars Vineyard and Estuary Wines are are only moments away, ready to offer brilliant wine tasting surrounded by beautiful scenery. There's also pleasant walking around the lanes in this lovely area, and access to the Brynderwyn Range trails nearby. If you’re wanting to hit the beach, you're spoilt for choice. Mangawhai surf beach is a 14-minute drive away, the estuary offers great swimming for smaller kids, and venturing further afield you'll find other great local beaches like Langs Beach, Waipu Cove, or Te Arai Beach all within a half-hour drive. There is also ample space to park a boat here at Totara Folly, with the Mangawhai boat ramp just 11 minutes’ drive away to launch for a day on the water.
