Birch Hill Cottage is the original Head Shearer’s Cottage from c1900. It has been recently fully renovated & is a wonderful spot to come to completely relax. Lisa and Mike have planted 100's of trees and are working on establishing a garden paradise over the 8 years they have owned the property. We are continuously upgrading the main cottage and land. You are welcome to come and enjoy and experience our slice of paradise. The cottage is shared with the main house, but private. Located 40 minutes easy drive from Blenheim, and 30 minutes from St Arnaud, Lake Rotoiti, and the gateway to Rainbow ski area, it is secluded but has easy access to the beautiful Marlborough region. The cottage has a microwave, a single element induction cooktop and a hooded BBQ that can be used like an oven. It has a small underbench fridge, unfortunately no room for a freezer. But if you require anything frozen we have one available outside our house, please ask. The cottage has been completely renovated. We have high quality cotton sheets, all new linens, towels and bedding. Nothing in this cottage is what we wouldn't live with ourselves.
