Family holiday house on the beach at Waihi Beach. See and hear the waves. No roads - stroll across the grass to the beach. Coronation Park out front for playing with the kids. Flat White cafe 250m around the corner. Recently refurbished - modern kitchen, appliances and bathrooms. Large outdoor living/dining area, open fireplace. Outdoor heated shower. Works well for 2 families.

Special Amenities

Large opening bi-fold doors and spacious relaxed indoor/outdoor living space. Large outdoor fireplace under covered deck. Front and rear decks allow guests to follow the sun during the day and get out of any wind. Kitchen bi-folds open onto outside bar seating and gas BBQ for socialising during meal preparations etc. Heated outdoor shower great after swimming. Surfboards and kayaks available for use. Property is fully fenced.

Special Attractions and Activities Nearby

Handy to local shops at Wilson Rd & cafes (Flat White). Good (safe) swimming and surfing on the beach in front of the house. Orakawa Bay is 1/2 hour walk over the hill from the North end of Waihi Beach. Bowentown Heads and Anzac Bay at the top end of Tauranga harbour are a short drive away and it is 10km into Waihi town with all of its' gold mining history. Karangahake Gorge is easily accessible for walks, biking and exploring mining ruins and tunnels.

Be very careful if you choose to stay here. We left the place very clean as per the agreement but they kept the deposit without saying anything. very disappointing behavior

Recollections may vary….. In 10 years of rentals we have never needed to retain the $1000 security deposit. $3600 plumbing bill for blocked/damaged toilet, double normal cleaning hours, and extra charges for linen laundering. All accounts from 3 reputable local businesses, that were shown to tenants in explaining the retention of the bond.

Wanted to let you know that we had an awesome time in your holiday home @ Waihi Beach. It had everything for a large family to be together and more. Beautiful presented and a really lovely place. Walking to the beach with ease over the grass in a minute or so. Great for us as a family to be together but also to have the ability to spread out. We loved the outside area and, in the evening, to put the fire on was the cherry on the cake. We would love to stay again sometime.
