Special Amenities

North facing property near the edge of town with mature trees for shade and screened by trees and bushes towards the quiet road frontage. A few bikes are available for your use. Motueka is flat and easy to bike around. We also have an outdoor firebowl (firewood supplied) and lots of outdoor chairs and tables for relaxing in the yard on long summer evenings. We have two resident cats so require renters who are kind to animals and able to feed them once every few days - very simple. The pond is not fenced so isn't suitable for babies and small children to be around unless supervised.

Special Attractions and Activities Nearby

The house is close to Raumanuka sand spit and international migratory bird sanctuary, the estuary, beach and golf course (each is a 2-minute drive, 10-minute bike ride). Ten-minute flat walk to town, supermarket, Sunday craft/farmers' market and many cafes and restaurants. Kaiteriteri and many other lovely beaches are 15 minutes drive away. The Abel Tasman national park is a half-hour drive with lots of beautiful walking, swimming and kayaking spots. Lovely Golden Bay is about an hour's drive away if you'd like a day excursion.

Our family home is available January 18th to 29th as we will be away. We have two resident cats that we'd like fed while we're gone. Very minimal time needed, perhaps 5 minutes every three days. We would prefer to have renters who can stay for most or all of the 12 days that we're away. For the right people, we're happy to negotiate. Please feel welcome to message us with any questions.
