Special Amenities

Easy walking to the beach - keep an eye out for penguins and sea lions. Also close by is the Orokonui Eco-Sanctuary, and Murdering Beach for excellent surf. 10 mins to Port Chalmers and 20-25 minutes to Dunedin City.

Special Attractions and Activities Nearby

Just up the road is the Orokonui Eco-Sanctuary. For the keen surfers Murdering Bay and Warrington are apparently great spots nearby. 10 mins to Port Chalmers with several great cafes, eating spots and its quirky assortment of shops, and in the other direction Waitati with an art gallery, garden centre with delicious treats and Blueskin Bay. It's just 20-25 minutes to Dunedin City.

Nice place to stay with a relatively short walk to the crags. Has everything you need for a week's climbing
