About this Holiday House

Our original 1970's family bach is available for you to come and unwind in the tranquil surrounds of Ngakuta Bay. We have maintained the cottage over the years while still remaining true to its traditional roots. Korora Cottage offers a real kiwi holiday experience. Enjoy well maintained walking and biking tracks, watersports, birdwatching and fishing. This is a beachfront property 20 minutes drive towards Nelson from Picton.

Special Amenities

The bay has a great boat ramp with parking facilities for trailers. Access to the family mooring buoy is available for $15 per day on request. Lovely walks along the waterfront right out the front door.

We do not have professional cleaners in between guest stays.
We ask that you do basic cleaning of floors and surfaces and clean up any messes they make. Basically we would like you to leave the bach the way you found it or better!
Please turn OFF THE POWER in the switchboard in the toilet before you leave.
There are no consumables provided and you will need to bring all of your own linen. There is a washing machine, so if you soil the existing duvet covers etc please wash these and leave to dry either on the washing line or the line on the porch.
If you let us know what you have done, we will be able to let the next guests know what to do.
Your assistance in this is appreciated. Staying at Korora Cottage, you become a part of our extended family and we hope you would enjoy looking after the Cottage as much as we do.
