The lodge is sited on Pukeinoi Farm, a small rural farming operation, 200 meters from the main farmhouse. Two bedrooms and a separate sleeping loft in the lodge, provides flexible accommodation options. Most of the guests are couples, families, Christian groups, artists etc who are seeking a peaceful location to retreat from their everyday busy life. The farm provides bush walks, opportunity for farming interaction, river swimming, glow worms and amazing night sky views. It is handy to popular day tramping tracks in the Reikorangi area. Shopping is available in Waikanae, 10 minutes drive away. Waikanae beach is only 15 minutes from the farm so it is possible to combine a rural and beach experience in the same area. A local farm park Cafe is located 3 minutes from the farm The interior of the lodge is designed to accommodate groups of people in spacious surroundings. The decor is designed around the natural timber used, much of which was milled on the farm. The bedrooms are warm and comfortable. The bathroom is on suite to the main bedroom. A large log burner provides wonderful warmth during winter. An audio system, theater projector and screen is provided for entertainment. Expansive decks and good indoor outdoor flow provide opportunity for summer barbecues. The decks flow to a large lawn area which is safe for Children to play in. Safe swimming is provided in the river 10 minutes walk from the cottage through the farm paddocks.
